“What a productive day!!” Reena said. It was Wednesday evening and after so many months of work and reluctant by many unknowns, hurdles and frustration. She was able to do what she needed, and it was not there until she visits her life long friend Priti. A tale of success.
The Begining – Journey of Success
As a consultant, I draw her attention. We seated down and started to explore what she wants to achieve by being an independent travel agent. I knew for the fact that she is one hell of determining lady and once she decided to put her mind into something. She will not seek less than a great success. So she explained the essential part of her business customer service and trust to convince potential leads which are coming through network or word of mouths. But she was not able to do that without the know-how.
The tale of Zero – continue
“What is stopping you? ” I stepped up and encouraged her. She said I need a social presence so that many of my friends can benefit from my services. So we established our goal to have a Facebook page. I explained her importance of the business page and the difference between yourself and business.
The tale of Hero
“Right, so far, so good,” she said. She took everything on board and step by step guides helped her to remove all obstacles. We quickly jot up logo, background page, keywords, slogan and description. Everything was as expected.

“Do you have a website?” I asked. “Yes, I do, but there is nothing there,” she replied. “What do you mean?” I was puzzled. So we walked through her domain name which she wanted. “Now we are talking,” I said her.
It was her visualisation which gave me to write something and put these into practices. We again went through her requirements. We established the importance of branding and online presences. She is so thrilled by the journey of a couple of hours.
“Is SS Travel your site?” I asked. “Yes,” she replied.
I went through her domain registry and meantime; she also showed me her associates site. I was wondering and curious about a few things. “OK, Reena. Let’s do one thing we can reuse your associate site to SS Travel. ”
The taste of success – zero to hero
“Really?!!” she was shocked. I tweaked her DNS registry and voila. After more than two hours, we are now getting in sync. Reena opened her first marketing campaign on the Facebook page and started to invite her friends. She chuckles.
As a result, She got more than twenty-eight likes, few congratulations and a potential lead from her inner circle within a couple of hours. She spent a few minutes on messages and interrupted for an email break. And she jumped with joy. “High-Five”, she shouted. I looked at her and asked, “Did you strike a deal?”. “Yep,” Reena said with joy.
A tale of success – zero to hero – a happy ending.
It did not stop there. We went for dinner at one of my favourite restaurant – Indigos in Leicester. And she got another call from her friend that she is interested in going ahead with her deal.
